Signal Analyzers measure the magnitude and phase of the input signal at a single frequency within the IF bandwidth of the instrument. They employ digital techniques to extract useful information that is carried by an electrical signal.

With appropriate software and programming they can measure any aspect for the signal. It is commonly related to the spectrum analyzer or vector signal analyzer.  These instruments can perform operations of both spectrum analyzer and vector signal analyzers.
