Combustion Analyzers

Combustion analyzers are instrument which use combustion to oxidize the sample into simple compounds which are then detected with thermal conductivity detection or infrared spectroscopy. Separation of interference is done by chemical reagents. Calculate the efficiency of all types of boilers, heaters and furnaces by measuring a range of parameters such as stack temperature, flue pressure and levels of gases.

Combustion analysis is vital for the operation and control of any combustion process. This method is used in both organic chemistry and analytical chemistry to determine the elemental composition of a pure organic compound by combusting the sample under conditions where the resulting combustion products can be quantitatively analyzed. Once the number of moles of each combustion product has been determined the empirical formula or a partial empirical formula of the original compound can be calculated. Through the analysis of combustion parameters, it's possible to improve efficiency resulting in lower fuel costs, fewer pollutants being emitted and lower expenses.
